The boat is a 20-foot Jones Brothers Cape Fisherman, powered by a 150 hp Yamaha outboard. It can comfortably accommodate up to 3 adult passengers (plus the captain).   The boat has plenty of room for fly casting up front, plus an area at the bow where you can cast in calm waters.  There are lockers for your gear, and plenty of rod holders. It also has a VHF radio, GPS and fish finder.

In my opinion, it is the perfect boat for fly fishing and inshore fishing in these waters. The deep-V hull can handle the chop that we encounter on most days, yet the boat only draws 12 inches, so we can get into some pretty shallow spots.

 

 

You are welcome to bring your own fly rod(s), or you can use one of ours. We have top-quality rods by Sage, Orvis and TFO. We have fly reels by Tibor, Hatch, Sage, and Orvis.

All charters include rods, reels, flies (all the necessary tackle), bottled water, soft drinks, ice, fuel, etc. You just need to bring wading shoes (flats boots), polarized sunglasses, and plenty of sunscreen!
