Captain Arthur Jones has been fly fishing on St. John and in the Virgin Islands for over 25 years, and for the past 17 years as a professional captain and guide.  He has the experience to know where the fish are and what they’ll be biting. He has guided hundreds of clients on St. John and he is passionate about fishing.  He has been featured in several fishing magazines, such as “Fly Fish America” and “Eastern Fly Fishing.”  His fishing pursuits have also been filmed for the Outdoor Life Network’s “Destination Outdoors.”

“One of the most enjoyable things I’ve done has been teaching my son Evan to fish.  Evan received a fly rod for Christmas when he was five and caught his first bonefish when he was six.  We regularly fish together on weekends and when I have a day off.  I expect him to be guiding clients in a few more years.”

IMG_1162-001Captain Dustin Harrison (holding tarpon, above) is a USCG Master and a fishing fanatic!  He has worked as a fishing guide in Alaska for 10 seasons and is returning to the warmer waters of the VI for his fourth winter as a fly fishing guide.  This guy loves to fish! It’s not uncommon for him to fish all day on the boat and then fish from a kayak at night in the harbor for fun!  He works for Arawak from November to April each year.
