St. John stands out as one of the best snorkeling destinations because of the variety and quality of spots accessible either straight off the beach, or by hiking the island’s extensive trail system. The waters are calm, crystal clear and warm year round.
You’ll find a shallow reef system right off many of our beautiful beaches. See a wide variety of marine life such as green sea turtles, hawksbill turtles, southern stingrays, eagle rays, squirrelfish, blue tang, caribbean reef squid, nurse sharks, trunk fish, tarpon, and many living corals.
